Born and raised in Burlington, NC, Dr. Madison Crumley instantly knew she wanted to be a dentist after one of her first dental visits as a child.
She attended Appalachian State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology and Psychology. From there, she received a Master’s in Physiology from North Carolina State University. Dr. Crumley then obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from East Carolina School of Dental Medicine.
While pursuing her Master’s degree, she worked as the Operations Manager for North Carolina Missions of Mercy, organizing free dental clinics throughout the state. She continues to serve on the Missions of Mercy Oversight Committee which allows Dr. Crumley to fulfill her passion of serving others who lack access to dental care.
Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. She currently serves as the North Carolina Dental Society’s First District President. She is also on the board for the North Carolina Dental Society’s Foundation and a member of the New Dentist Committee. Lastly, she also participates on a Task Force to review the Dental Practice Act.
Dr. Crumley and her husband, Gabriel, have a Shih Tzu named Leroy. They enjoy spending time watching the Mountaineers play, traveling, hiking and visiting wineries.
